We learned yesterday that Facebook had rolled out yet another privacy violation — automatic facial recognition technology that would tag you in pictures you didn’t know about — without telling anyone.
Every four months, it seems, the company changes a setting for 500 million people, doesn’t tell them, and then takes a PR beating when everyone finds out.
Well, I was right. Facebook is backpedaling today.
